If you're looking to play something like Arma 3 in full VR 3D, probably not gonna happen. But I felt New Vegas was pretty refined once you made some minor adjustments to it's settings and since I'm absolutely in love with that game, it felt like it was worth the purchase once I got it up and running. It's definitely not the best if you're using a game that's not supported by DirectVR. That game is just amazing in 3D.Д®DIT: Here's a compatibility list to see which games are fully supported(Direct VR games have the best adjustments for VR)Д®DIT2: Seem to be getting some downvotes here. Local from my understanding is more of a blank slate base profile to use for games etc. Youll notice one that says Local Profiles, and one that says Cloud Profiles. Note: The likelihood of this bringing perfect results are extremely slim. There are only the 2 on there - so you will have the correct one. There is also one by Rkese, but it didn't work at all. Use the main GUI to find it in the search box. You will enjoy all these games in VR and come with some positional head tracking as. The 7 Days To Die profile quoted can be found on the VorpX Cloud. It has 150 games where it improved from 80 on the earlier versions. VorpX has more games to offer than Vireo Perception.

The most recent one being The Darkness II. Note: Vorpx now has capabilities to work With Sims 4 once installed which is a major plus Once Vorpx has been installed, look over its options. This is a paid alternative, and honestly, it just costs 40 so, if you want to enjoy games like Mortal Combat, Skyrim, or Half-Life 2. There are glitches here and there but it opened up a lot of replay-ability for me for other games. VorpX should work with any Second Life and OpenSim viewer including the official Linden Lab viewer (4.0.6 tested) Remember that you have to be in 1st person/Mouselook mode to see the 3D effect, as shown in the right hand image below (click on the thumbnail for the larger screenshot). 4) If the ingame FOV still makes the game scale look too zoomed, increase FOV in the Vorpx options. 3) Once in game, if headtracking isnt still 'right', go to the config option with DEL key and tweak HT option slowly until it feels nearly 1:1.

This is made possible thanks to incredible programs that are loosely known as VR 3D Drivers. IF there are profiles for the games in the vorpx menu, that will do it automatically.

If you're a fan of Fallout New Vegas, I think that is worth the price tag alone as it has full direct VR support. I was in the same position as you and just said fuck it and bought it.
